Fitness for Life

“Give me a lever long enough, a fulcrum strong enough and

I’ll move the world” -Archimedes

Finding fitness.  Finding fitness is a mission, a philosophy, and a way of life.  It is an evolution of ones former self.  A transformation, a new beginning, and a quest to becoming the best version of yourself.

Fitness is a very broad term, and generally implies health.  Health is impacted largely by the physical, mental, and spiritual domain of an individual.  My belief, is that to become the best version of yourself, you must first begin with the physical.  I know, a lot of people will say "it is what's on the inside that counts." This is true, and I do not disagree, but I ask that you take a different approach and first realize what physical health brings.

An unfortunate part of life, and the social network that we live within, is the fact that we care so much about what others think of us.  Below I will post some standard associations that may be made about one's character.

*Strong*Confident*Powerful*Charismatic*Motivated*Determined*Driven*Focused*Energetic

*Weak*Lazy*Shy*Sad*Tired*Unsure*Afraid*Depressed*Angry*Confused*

Now we all know that guy, or girl, that you see hitting the gym everyday.  They are typically telling stories about the great weekends they had, with the great friends they have, and you are always surprised at just how much they do everyday.  *You want to BE like THEM*

This is where physical fitness will mold your life.  When you develop a body that can withstand punishment from grueling sessions of weight training, conditioning, training, fighting, or simply laboring, you create a carry over into your everyday life.  The assets that you gain within the gym, become part of you.  You will be instilled with a greater sense of confidence, you will build strength both physically and within your character, you will be energized, motivated, and ready to take on challenges!

Starting with the physical, or the external, helps develop a better character, or the inner self.

This is the premise of my new blog, and it is the initial piece I wanted to get across before we can jump into the fun aspects of fitness.

I want this to serve as the beginning place in finding fitness, and really discovering the power behind it.  My goal is to have creative topics involving health and fitness, exercise information, diet tips, and talk about total body and life transformations.

I want to serve you in the best way I know, and that is through fitness!
